Injury break for Asha P
She was considered one of the possible aspirants for the German eventing team in Tokyo 2021.
But now it became known that the young gray mare will probably not be on the longlist for Tokyo after all.
Asha P was considered one of Klimke's absolute top students. Together with the mare Klimke could win her fifth German championship title.
After an injury in training, the mare will now have to take a break for a few weeks or even months. "It will take a while until she is fit again. We will now unfortunately have to take a break from competing for this year," announces the riding champion.
But besides Asha P, Klimke still has an iron in the fire with regard to Tokyo with her experienced Hale Bob OLD. Nevertheless, the Münster-based rider is disappointed that she will not be able to continue presenting the gray mare. "We are very sad and need patience now. All the more we are looking forward to when we can take off together again," Klimke said.
